What do you see while you're getting an eye surgery?

You will typically see very little that you will recognize as frightening or threatening. Seeing a very bright light, perhaps a colorful light show, intermittent waves of fluid are common. You may experience some pressure from time to time, but you should not experience anything sharp, cutting, burning, or otherwise painful. If you have had a regional block (called a retro-septal injection), you may not see or feel anything at all.
