What do I do with my old glasses?

There is a great need for glasses with just about any prescription in most of the 3rd World countries. The Lions' Club has a wonderful program of collecting these in special boxes usually found at most optical shops and eye clinics. They forward them to International organizations that distribute them overseas. The spectacles are then cleaned, repaired and the prescription measured and recorded. Although the exact Rx is not always available for a particular needy person, usually there is something close enough to provide a significant help to a person who can't afford them.
