Is there a laser surgery to correct farsightedness due to age?

No, not really. The age-related type of farsightedness is called Presbyopia. It is caused by the slow hardening of the natural lens of the eye to a degree where there is just too much resistance for the muscle to squeeze it into the proper shape for up-close vision.

Laser vision correction is by its nature performed on the cornea of the eye, the more important focusing part. Presbyopia can be "tricked," however, by using a strategy like monovision. This is where one eye is set at close focus and the other at distance. While monovision can work very well in many patients to offset the symptoms of presbyopia, it is not really a 'cure."
