Is it possible after cataract surgery, for the newly implanted lens to escape the capsule if it needs YAG laser surgery?

Almost immediately after the cataract operation the capsule (a clear, cellophane-like, elastic envelope) begins to shrink and stick to the IOL. This is fairly secure within a few weeks and extremely secure after about a year. When the YAG laser opening of a hole in the clouded posterior capsule is done, the IOL should still be quite secure and tight within the shrunken capsule. This would make it near impossible for the IOL to dislocate. If, however, the IOL is not actually within the capsule or is otherwise not secure, it could conceivably move. This would be extremely unlikely however.
