Can others notice that you have had cataract surgery?

Not usually. The eye really looks as if nothing was done. Occasionally you can see a "glint" from the lens implant if the light is right and the IOL was made of certain more reflective material.

Often the biggest clue is that the cataract patient is no longer wearing his or her normal glasses anymore!
