What do eyeglasses wearers find the most annoying about going to the eye doctor?

I suspect the most unpopular part of an eye exam for patients is having their eyes dilated. The dilation lasts for considerably longer than the time spent at the eye clinic and can make people uncomfortable with bright light for much of the day.

The reason for dilation is two-fold:

It allows the doctor to see far more of the retina (which in nearsighted people is often at elevated risk of problems). And it also provides a more objective measurement of your refraction (glasses Rx).
