PRK

Photorefractive Keratectomy - similar to LASIK in the reshaping of the cornea, but uses a different procedure for preparing the cornea for reshaping. Although PRK is an older procedure than LASIK and has largely been replaced by it, PRK is still useful for patients with larger pupils and thin corneas.
